-
½ cup all-purpose flour
-
3 tbsp + extra virgin olive oil

In a large bowl, combine the grated onion and its juices with the ground beef, ground pork, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, mint, olive oil, seasoning mix and vinegar.
-
Use your hands to combine the mixture until its fully combined.
-
Use a tablespoon or half an ice-cream scooper to portion out the meatballs. Roll each meatball into 2-inch round balls.
-
Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
-
Place the flour into a shallow bowl. Dredge the meatballs slightly in the flour and place a a plate until the pan is hot and the oil is shimmering.

Cook the meatballs in batches, not crowding the pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes on all sides until browned all over. Remove the meatballs from the pan to a plate. Add additional oil if needed and repeat, cooking all the meatballs in 2-3 batches.
-
Serve with a garnish of chopped parsley and a lemon wedge if desired.
